This is a used Sporterized DOT KAR98K rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. It features a 24-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, claw extractor, and wood stock. Overall, this rifle is in good condition with normal age-related wear throughout the barrel, bolt, and stock. The barrel has some pitting. Bore condition is fair with pitting towards toward the muzzle. The barrel, bottom metal, and rear sight assembly have matching serial numbers. The bolt is mismatched to the gun, but matches itself. The receiver has a DOT factory code and 1944 date. The bottom metal and right side of the barrel below the rear sight have a 9-digit number etched into the metal.
