This is a WW2-era Mauser Kar98K rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. It features a 24-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, claw extractor, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, leather sling, Lyman front sight, and tangent rear sight. Overall, this gun is in good condition with normal age related-finish wear throughout the barrel, receiver, and stock. Bore condition is good with strong rifling. The serial numbers are mismatched. The receiver has been drilled and tapped and the metal has been re-blued. The chamber is dated 1942 and has a Mauser BYF manufacture code. There are no import marks on this rifle.
