This is an antique Harpers Ferry 1842 Percussion single shot musket with a .69 caliber bore. It features a 42-inch smooth bore barrel, US proofs, and 3-barrel bands. Overall, this Harpers is in good vintage condition. The bore shows heavy signs of use and has many voids down throughout the barrel walls. The side lock features an Eagle over top of a US mark along with a date of 1848. The barrel shows a PB P Proof near the rear right side. A US proof is also visible on the butt plate.
