E. Whitney 1822 Conversion 58 Caliber Musket - Collectible *1834*
This is an antique E. Whitney 1822 Conversion Musket chambered for 58 caliber projectiles. It features a 42-inch barrel, percussion ignition system, sling swivels, steel ramrod, steel butt plate, and bayonet. Overall, this musket is in good vintage condition with normal age-related finish wear throughout the barrel, stock, and lock. The flint ignition system has been converted to percussion ignition. The lock is in good working condition with two positive clicks. The stock is chipped near the breech plug. The lock and breech plug are dated 1834. A cartouche is visible on the left side of the stock. Due to the age of this musket, it is being sold as-is.
