Czech Spreewerk P38 VZ46 Rework 9mm Pistol - Collectible with Holster *1 of 3000*

This is a Czech VZ46 Spreewerk P38 pistol chambered in 9mm. It features a 5-inch barrel, 8-round magazine, manual safety/decocker, fixed sights, lanyard ring, and heel magazine release. Includes leather holster. Overall, this pistol is in good condition with normal use wear on the barrel, slide, and frame. All visible serial numbers on this pistol match, including the magazine. The original serial number on the slide assembly was defaced by the Czechs, then a new serial number was applied. This pistol is free of import marks. The slide is marked Cyq indicating that this pistol was originally manufactured by Spreewerk. A rampant lion is visible on the barrel and German eagles have been peened from the slide and frame. The right side of the trigger guard is marked with the number 46 and the left trigger guard is marked with the letter "E" with peened rampant lion. These pistols were manufactured from left over P38s in 1946 and it is estimated that only 3000 were produced. This would be a good choice for military surplus collecting. Buy online today!
