This is an original Colt 1860 Army Revolver chambered for 44 Caliber cap and ball. It features an 8-inch round barrel, 6-round cylinder, percussion ignition system, wood grips, and brass front sight. Overall, this Colt is good condition with normal age-related finish wear throughout the barrel, frame, and cylinder. The grips shows significant wear. Cylinder lockup and timing are good. Due to age wear, the serial number on the butt of the grips is no longer visible. Based on Colt's serial number lookup, this revolver was manufactured in 1861.
